I was working in St Louis & my niece who lives there took me to this place. The look of the place isn't appealing, but the food is great. She told me of a sandwich that I had never heard of called the St Paul. We decided to split the shrimp St Paul, it was amazing & full of flavor in every bite. I also had the duck fried rice, which was new to me, it was good but more duck fat than duck meat. Lastly we had the crab rangoon which was good. All portion sizes were large and definitely shareable. So my take away is don't be fooled by the look of the building, this place is a must try.

Everytime I arrive in STL this is my first spot I'm going to eat at. The place is in need of an upgrade but the food is definitely delicious . It's always packed when I come here.

This is an Urban Area restaurant with absolutely no frills. If you're expecting anything beyond some good, quick, cheap food this is not your place. However, if you want to try this place I'd suggest anything between St. Paul. and Fried Rice. You can't go wrong honestly. It's normal for them not to answer the phone, due to the constant crowd waiting to order in the very small lobby. And the service is always slow, but it's honestly worth the wait.

I have currently been living in California for 11 years, there is NO good chinese food out here, I'm from Illinios, and I cant wait to go here to get some rice! I'm flying into St Louis just to stop by and then drive 3 hours home. That's how good it is!!

Although it is small inside and in a somewhat sketchy environment, the food is amazing and the wait is not long!!! They don't skimp on portions and everything is cooked to order, so always fresh and just mouth watering!!! I will definitely go back, but not if the sun has gone down. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you receive.

I'll give it a 4 because there's always needs for improvement. A rundown on a few things about this place: It is strictly take out!! only 2 benches inside the establishment for you to sit while waiting for your food. I've never paid with a credit card, usually cash, but I assume they take credit. It's in the hood, but I'm from the hood. You might get asked if you wanna buy some kind of narcotic from someone walking past on the street. A No Frills place; grab your food and go. Now on to the good stuff. The crab ragoon is amazing!!! Hot, crispy, and creamy on the inside EVRY time. I love the consistency. I typically get a version of fried rice and the oh so famous "St. Louis" St. Paul sandwich. This is one place the St. Paul sandwiches are humongous!!! I love it. I warn you they are VERY greasy, and you have to ask no lettuce, tomato, onions or they will automatically add it. The fried rice is fully cooked and typically has your egg, onion, and whatever meat. You have to specify if you want extra stuff in the rice. Nothing is truly needed to add to the rice, but I like to and red pepper and sweet&sour sausce.
